Positive4Mind did not begin in a boardroom or with a business plan. It began in Bahrain, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when I found myself far from home, isolated, and facing a period of profound uncertainty.
I had spent over 35 years working in the oil and gas industry — a career built on expertise, precision, and resilience. But the pandemic stripped many of those familiar structures away. What remained, in the quiet that followed, was a question I had been too busy to ask for much of my life: what actually matters?
The answer that came back surprised me. Not the career, not the status, not the relentless forward motion. What mattered was peace. Connection. The quiet sense that you are living in alignment with something true in yourself.
That realisation was the seed of Positive4Mind.
Positive4Mind is, at its heart, a family project — and that is not just something we say. It is something we live.
I built the platform together with my wife Florita, whose spiritual depth, wisdom, and Venezuelan Guyanese Indian heritage have shaped everything you find here — the tone, the values, the sense that true wellness is not a product but a practice. Florita is our Spiritual Director, and her voice runs through every piece of content, every melody, every word of guidance on this platform.
Our sons Thomas and Christian are both part of this journey. Thomas, who is studying Business Management, has been with us from the very beginning — testing, advising, and pushing us to think bigger. Christian, based in Venezuela, brings his own energy and dedication as our Technical Social Media Manager, helping us reach Spanish-speaking communities across Latin America and beyond. Both of them have given something of themselves to build what you see here, and we could not be more proud of the young men they are becoming.
We are a family who believes in what we are doing. Not because it is easy — building something from nothing rarely is — but because we have seen, in our own lives, what happens when you commit to inner peace and positivity as a daily practice. It changes everything.
Positive4Mind exists because we believe that every person — regardless of their background, their beliefs, or where they are in their journey — deserves access to the tools, the music, the guidance, and the community that support a life of greater peace and meaning.
We are small. We are independent. We are family. And we are building something we believe in with everything we have.
Thank you for being here with us. This is only the beginning.
